No need to say just thanks, its very small word, I haven’t any words to thanks’ your team.
As per your advice and very helpful site, I appealed my PIP as I have standard rate (both) till end 2022 I wasn't happy of this. Received a call from DWP this morning (surprisingly Saturday) and offers me Enhanced rate in mobility and same as standard rates in daily living but increases my award till end 2025. Lady told me if I want to increase my daily living then may I can provide a letter from my GP and they will look it again may they can increase my daily living award.
As per your advice I accepted her offer but she told me still I can go through my appeal or I can withdraw any time if I am happy.
Need your kind advice again while I need enhanced rate in daily living also, so what is best for me to do so. I was treated very badly during my assessment and my MP involved in my case and may be due to this reason DWP offer's me this award. Your advice will be accepted in all condition.

Hi Anees
Congratualations on the increase in part of your award and the length of your claim until end 2025. We do not hear about many award lengths increase on this forum, they are quite rare.
We can not advise you on whether to accept DWP offer or go for an appeal, you would need to weigh up your chances of getting the enhanced daily living by looking at the assessors report and your condition against the criteria using our guides.
You have to weigh up, 4 years stress free against an appeal, in which you may loose what you have already have been offered.
Getting one's MP involved can help move on your claim, but it does not guarantee the outcome you are hoping for.

Should I get letter from GP to support my daily living activities as per dwp advised, drop my appeal and press them while they ask me to send a letter and they will looked it again my daily living? While lady told me they are changing my mobility because my GP write about my mobility but not daily living. What's you kind advise?

Hi Anees
There is no harm in asking your doctor for a letter to support your claim for the daily living component. Your doctor will need to know the PIP criteria against which you are being assessed.
We do have in the 'Members only Guides' a section called 'PIP GP Notes' it is a pdf file, 14 pages long which you can give to you doctor or you doctor can use it as a guide to do a report. Your doctor needs to concentrate on the daily living component rather than the mobility as you have already been offered the enhanced mobility component.
Once you get the letter from your doctor, if you believe it will support your claim then send it in but make sure you keep a copy for your record and also reference the supporting letter to your phone conversation with DWP, did you write down the name of the person you spoke to from DWP?

Hi Anees
You can withdraw your appeal at anytime before a hearing a date, so you may want to see the outcome of your letter before dropping your appeal.
