PIP due for review after reaching retirement

I currently receive PIP, higher rate for mobility, standard rate for care. I reach state pension age in Feb. 2021, and my PIP runs until Aug. 2022. I live in Scotland, and PIP has been devolved to the Scottish government.
I do not need someone to help care for me, so I will not qualify for Attendance Allowance.
I have read in the Scot Gov website that having reached state pension age I can re-apply for PIP at that time, but that it may not be renewed. There is no further information, eg: what factors decide whether it will or will not be renewed.
I would very much like to know what factors are taken into consideration in Scotland when deciding on renewal of PIP for recipients who have reached state pension age. How likely is my PIP to be renewed in August 2022?
I should be grateful for any help anyone can offer me in this regard.

I think you are reading more into this than there is.

There is no reason why you will not be reassessed in 2022, whether an award is made will be dependant on your meeting the criteria, just as you have before.

Gordon,
This Gov.UK news report interests me. It does seem to imply that existing PIP (or as it is known now in Scotland, DAWAP) awards will not be stopped for pensioners when their PIP awards granted before they reached state pension age fall due for reassessment.
I post it here for the benefit of anyone else who might be interested in this issue. Whether this decision by the DWP, of beneficial relevance to pensioners, translates in Scotland for PIP (DAWAP), I cannot tell.

It has always been the case that a claimant receiving PIP before they reached 65 or State Retirement Age, whichever is the higher, can continue to receive PIP after 65 or SRA providing they continue to meet the criteria for an award.
