Tribunal phone appeal was created by Cooker
I have been given a date for tribunal phone appeal does anyone know the statistics of this can I refuse a tribunal phone appeal and wait for a face-to-face 3-07-20Is the date of the phone tribunal is this a pilot scheme because of Covid

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

You don't need to repeat your posts, all posts require approval and will not appear in the forum until this is done by a Moderator.
I'm afraid there are no statistics related to a phone hearing.
You will have to contact the Tribunal Service to see whether it is possible to defer your hearing until face to face ones are available again, it's not a question I have seen answered here or on any of the other forums that I monitor.

Cooker please keep the forum informed on how you get on if in the eventuality you do have to go through a telephone tribunal hearing. Will be very interesting to know what they were asking you, and were their questions relevant to your submission and admitted evidence. In any event good luck either way, but do come back and let us know how it panned out. Many of us on here will be interested as we could also find ourselves in your situation. On a final note I personally have gone through three appeals and won hands down, of which they were all oral and heard at a tribunal court. Which for obvious reasons gives you a chance to tell your story to the judge and panel. good luck.
