Carers allowance letter re end date

Hi all. I started my PIP review in February and they ha e confirmed several times that everything was received. I have phoned twice and just been told “yes your PIP” will be extended and I would get a letter (which I haven’t) my PIP award ends 18/7 and I was going to phone again next week to chase but today my husband, who is my carer received a letter saying as my PIP finishes on 18/7 so will his carers allowance. Whilst I appreciate this must be a computer generated letter it fills me with dread that my award isn’t being extended, or even looked at. I have had no phone calls or letters of any sort. Of course the letter arrives on a Saturday so I can’t phone today and will now worry all weekend. I will be phoning on Monday but I just wondered if anyone else has had this or if they have had letters, in oartcilaur if their award is due to end next month. Every time I phone I am told not to worry and it does say in black and white that awards will be extended until reviewed but I have lost faith! Thanks

Thank you Gary, fingers crossed it’s just the computer having a fit! I will post when I find out in case it happens to anyone else (which I can see it has)
