PIP telephone assesment

Hi all,

Just to let you know that the DWP seem to be catching up with their assessments. My PIP was due to end May 2020. I got a 6 month extension until Nov 2020 due to Covid 19. I have just received a text to say I have a telephone assessment next Tuesday 21st July.

I just thought I would let you know for those people that have a 6 month extension, to say that they should be prepared and not assume that they won't have an assessment until after the 6 months and that it can happen anytime soon.

Fingers crossed that it will be o.k. I am anxious about it as last time it went to appeal (which I won) however this time I am far better informed due to Benefits & work so fingers crossed. The first time I went for an assessment all I took with me was my appointment letter and prescription!! this time I have a big wad of info
