MR appeal layout was created by tango
a friend of mine had pip reassessment in january and her award was stopped in march she was awarded no points for both categories. she submitted her mandatory reconsideration at the end of march along with some medical evidence(again as this had already been submitted) after obtaining her assessment report, and i submitted a supporting letter detailing all the care that she needs throughout the day.
at the assessment the health practitioner was bullying her and had her crying and at one stage i had to tell him that i was going to stop the assessment and report him to his employers and dwp, so his attitude changed from bullying to been quite friendly, but he still kept insisting that i could have no input.he then proceeded to award her no points.
in the middle of june she got her mandatory reconsideration decision and she had been awarded both high rate care and high rate mobility for indefinite period of time. so she went from 0 points to high rate on both care and mobilitry for a indefinite period of time just on a MR without even going to appeal. so my message is if they dont give you the award you feel you are entitled to get your MR in and if this is not successful go to appeal, don't give up bdecause thats what the dwp want you to do is give up.
