I got told the same thing the first time I phoned. Hung up and tried again and got told same again but person was willing to send it out when I kept asking.
Hi BIS, that's very interesting, writing to the decision maker and challenging the report. I didn't know that. Please, if I have reason to do so next time, [currently awaiting] how does this affect the one-month-to-request MR deadline? Also I too have experienced first-agent-said-no, called again, second was much more help. Just to encourage others to try again too if needed. Thanks, Denby
First of all the letter would be sent before a Decision is made but we do recommend including a paragraph stating that the letter is not a request for a Mandatory Reconsideration but that you reserve the right to request an MR if the award is not as expected.
