Hi, I have my phone assessment for my PIP review on Tuesday, and I was wondering how long after the assessment I can phone DWP and ask for a copy? I did it last time, but I can’t remember how long I waited! Last time my face to face was done by ATOS but CAPITA are doing the call so I didn’t know if that makes a difference. I hope I am prepared for the call, I have read the section in the guide on here, made copious notes to refer to plus have made a list of things I must say! It’s all so odd though as having a physical and very visible mobility disability I just don’t get how they can really assess me. Oh well, we shall see!

The report should be filed with the DWP within a couple of days of the assessment.

I recently had my assessment and my report was not added to the DWP system for over 2 weeks afterwards. I was told that due to staff shortages it will be atleast 10 working days.
Good luck

Hi Leanne89

Whenever you contact the DWP and ask for a copy of the assessors report, they tell you that it can take up to ten working days to get the report, quite often it arrives within a few days.

Not sure why your assessment took over 2 weeks to be added as it is electronic.
