Assessed for and now receiving enhanced Daily Living and Mobility PIP. On the confirmation letter from DWP(PIP 7003) it states "You can now get this from 7 May 2020 for an ongoing period". How should this be interpreted - previously I was given a start date and an end date. I want to research a mobility vehicle and not knowing when the enhanced rate is to continue until will cause problems. I have MS and I am hoping that this new renewal of the allowance will continue without any more reviews. Can anyone assist with an answer please.
Ongoing is for ten years. Some claimants are receiving specific ten years end dates and others aren't. It doesn't mean that you won't be subject to a review in the future.
