Had my telephone assessment for PIP this morning. Call came on time landline used rather than mobile as stated by Capita. It lasted full 90 min and covered all medical history and almost all descriptors including mobility. My submitted form was being used as we went along. Generally went well and answered well. At end asked about medical report and when can i get a copy.. Was informed she would complete it and send to DWP and they would let me have results in 8 to 10 weeks. There was no need to contact them beforehand.. There was a trainee on line as well. Should i feel relieved and optimistic and request copy or wait. Patel. Do i sense
It's up to you whether you request a copy of the report or not, some members want to know so that they can prepare for an MR if needed, some cannot face the stress of waiting for the actual Decision to arrive.
