Not sure what to put in email requesting tribunal?

Hi
Please can I ask for some advice? I've checked the members online guide but my brainfog and anaemia is making it difficult to absorb the information.
I have been refused pip and after being told the mr would take many months during which I would have more time to submit further medical evidence due to the pandemic (and not to risk my safety by trying to obtain/photocopy and post it out) I received a letter saying it has been done and decision is same.
So I'm in the difficult position as I know we all are of not being able to get copies of my evidence to send plus I do not have a working computer and typical my phone which is old given to me by a friend 2 yrs ago has developed a problem with syncing my emails so I have very limited access to the internet.
I have setup an account to register the tribunal request for appeal but keep getting refused further access? I rang them twice for advice and they said I should submit a direct appeal request via email with a photograph attached of my mr letter. I am delayed in doing this as I'm not exactly sure when the letter arrived it was dated early june but I didn't get it until july plus I've been very unwell with an infection ontop of my existing illhealth and had to endure a lot of pain whilst trying to fight the infection as my health conditions means I cannot tolerate oral antibiotics, last time I took some I ended up in hospital for nearly 2 wks on a drip.
I am also really struggling with what to put in the email? Do I include the reasons I feel I should have been awarded pip or does that come later at the tribunal hearing? Also do I request an oral hearing as I read its best to do so to avoid a paper based appeal?
Many thanks for any help and I'm sorry this post is so long.
Take care

If you are unable to use the online request system then the normal procedure is for the claimant to complete an SSCS1 form, the request can be done in a letter (or email) as long as you provide all of the information that is required on the form.

Our PIP Appeal guide explains the process and there is a completed SSCS1 in the Submissions document that you can tailor to fit your needs for an email request.

Hi Gordon.

Thank you very much for your reply.
I tried yet again earlier and got a bit further with the online form not sure why it keeps refusing access and I'm worried they won't believe me that I'm having so much difficulty with my internet access. I can send emails at present as far as I know but I haven't received any since last week. I think its best if I can try to complete the request online if possible.
I will have another look at the advice you suggested and the completed form.
Thanks again for helping me.
Take care

Hi Missnursing

If you get an error message, take a screen shot and save it, that way you will have proof. Everyone I have spoken to who have done an online appeal have said it was straight forward and they got a reply straight away informing that HMCTS have received the appeal.

I have not completed an online appeal myself so cannot talk you through the process, I use the SSCS1 form but that was pre lockdown time.

There are reports on RightsNet, the Welfare Rights workers that there are problems with the request system.
