Hi
Can somebody explain the amount of saving you're allowed to have before claiming IR ESA, HB and C/tax? I keep reading £16,000 £6,000 and £5,500! I read these figures over and over but, can't make sense of them. Thanks for helping me.

Have a look at the following

Asset and savings rule for ESA(IR)

The £5500 has no legal standing but is accepted as the amount above which you need to contact the DWP.
