Had a phone call (pre-arranged) 5.00pm 11th August Pip Assessor told me it was going to be a short Assessment about 20 Minutes Asked various Questions relating to the Form and the Call lasted about about 18 minutes Can anybody tell me is this Normal I prepared for the call to last for over 1 hour Regards
No one can tell you what is 'normal'. Yes, some have lasted an hour and some even longer, but it was exactly the same when they were doing face to face assessments - they varied in length. You may have had a shorter call than you were expecting because the assessor felt they already had a lot of information and wanted simply to clarify things with you. It's impossible to say the reason for the length.
In 48 hours time, you can ring up and get a copy of the report.

Hi, I had my assessment recently and it lasted under half an hour. I was concerned also but he had said at the beginning that he had lots to read through in my file so guessing he took mainly what he needed from my evidence. Good luck x
