Phone call out of blue was created by traceytracey
Hi All,
I have been helping my daughter to claim PIP due to her epilepsy (tonic clonic). I sent off her paperwork and on Friday she received a call out of the blue from DWP asking questions etc. Whilst this was not a problem, I just wondered if it was normal? the lady said it was to try and sort it out without a telephone interview. Hopefully this is a good sign
Has anybody else had this happen? and if yes what was the outcome? any feedback greatly appreciated.
Keep safe

Hi Traceytracey
Yes, I have heard of this happening before. There was a positive outcome and a paper-based assessment was made, but don't assume until you hear that you will get the same result.
