I am in receipt of ESA.

I recently moved home to a new address and wrote to DWP to inform them of this. I sent the letter by recorded delivery. I used Royal Mail Track and Trace to confirm that the letter had been received and signed for by DWP. Is this sufficient for them to update my records or do I need to do anything else?

I would phone the DWP office dealing with your claim to make sure that your address has been updated.

If you don't and it hasn't then you won't receive any communications from the DWP and this could risk your ESA award.
