Any idea how it takes to hear about a PIP renewal in the current crisis? Form sent a week ago. Thanks

Hi Daff
It is almost impossible to give an accurate answer. It may be 2-6 weeks but it might be longer.

Hi Daft
My situation. With renewal was slightly different as I sent my forms back in 14th Feb and got my decision a couple of weeks ago!! Obviously Vivid came in the middle and i think they put all renewals on the back burner until mid July.
I had notification of a telephone assessment on about 15th July, actual call on 28th july, letter confirming they had all the information 5th August (in the meantime I phoned and got a copy of the assessment which looked ok) and then at the beginning of September i got the Brown envelope with confirmation of renewal at the same rate for 4 years (2 years longer which was good news) This was much quicker than any of my previous reassessment . The HP on the assessment call said 8-10 weeks for decision but I was about 6 weeks this time (after assessment , 2years ago I waited 4 months!)
