hello, i have always had face to face assessments, for pip and esa fortunately i have been successful for both, i am 64 yrs old. i know you said that the video assessment is now optional. and i seem to have been comfortable with face to face in the past, but would you say video would maybe have a better chance of success than face to face, or telephone assessments for that matter. given the fact video link i expect will be the norm in the future. thank you
Video assessments are still being trialed. I think it's impossible to say whether one method will be better than another for success. As always with any assessment, it depends on the claimant and their ability to be able to explain themselves under what is often a very stressful situation and the sensitivity of the assessor.
