Government Spending during COVID was created by CHUNKY
Hi
Am I the only one to be worrying about the Government further cutting benefit payments as we are seen as a soft touch.
When Billions will need to be saved in the future what legacy will be left?

The Government is still trying to throw money in the way of COVID which does not
appear to be easing anytime soon. Life and death decisions will be made about who gets an ICU bed and who doesn't. Everyone is experiencing lock-down fatigue which what the experts were trying avoid in SAGE. All I can do is pray.

You are right.
This is why I subscribe to this site to check latest benefit news each day.
Us pensioners will certainly be made to pay for all the "shielding" etc.
Our London 60+ and freedom passes are already under threat.
Lock up all the old people, keep them off the streets, what use are they anyway?
I don't have a car, I don't have any second pension. Dependant totally on housing benefit.
Pension Credit Guarantee and my Disability Living Allowance.
Would be lost without my freedom pass. How do we get out to the early slots for the elderly at the supermarket? How do we get to early hospital appointments?
Also there are many over 60s who still work!

Forgot to add. Keep us oldies off the streets and off the transport, just so's they can oil the economy.
