Hello DWP PIP helpline worker just advised me that I can not have a copy of the PIP review assessor’s report until AFTER the decision maker has made their decision. Reason given was that there was no point having the report beforehand as “the decision maker can overturn the assessment maker’s recommendations”! I am so stressed and I just accepted it politely even though I know that is wrong. I’m so scared of kicking up any fuss in case they hold it against me (learnt from bitter experience). They hold all the power in this dynamic and I feel I have to pay the role of being meek and accepting. I was told not to ring back until four or five weeks or so (they advised that the decisions are currently talking four or five weeks). I had a feeling they would refuse to give the report. Thanks
