Direct payments and SDP was created by robin.ord14@btinternet.com
I am in receipt of ESA Income based Support group including the SDP due to no carer support and it has been suggested by a disability organisation that I should consider applying for direct payments to pay for an appointee, such as an Advocate plus, to help with issues and problems and liaise with Police, Council regards community issues, so the question is would this affect the SDP ?
Thanks

It won't be an issue unless someone claims Carers Allowance against your PIP or DLA award and there should be no requirement for this with Direct Payments.
