Here we go
I had my pip extended till
April 2021
And again till July 2021
Then a review form was sent
Filled it in
Phone them today as form sent back in September 11
They have it
It’s with atos
The chap said u get a telephone assessment
Ask is that on the system
He said that all reviews will get a telephone assessment only 0.01 get a paper review
His words
Was told that probably next year as they are very busy and still catch up period .
I have ask for a paper review
That was sent after my review form as I had to wait 6 weeks to my M H consultant .
Hopefully it’s been added

You are free to request a paper-based assessment, but they are unlikely to grant one without a doctor's letter confirming that it would cause you 'overwhelming psychological distress' to have a telephone assessment. Be warned even then the DWP and/or the assessment services sometimes ignore such requests. I've not known anyone to get paper-based assessment without a medical professional's back up.

Yes my consultant has written a letter
My MH consultant written a quite long letter to the Dwp
Hopefully they will give a paper review
