What are the current timescales for processing PIP claims?
I understand there are no face-to-face interviews due to Covid. More or less, how long is it currently taking to get invited to a telephone interview and how soon are they occurring?
I understand timescale info is largely anecdotal but it is better than nothing.
I ask this because I wish to change my GP when it's clear he will not be contacted by the DWP for further info. My GP is sympthetic to my medical disabiities but he's no use when it comes to investigating them and I am becoming unwell again.
In these uncertain times, it's difficult to give you a definitive timeline for when you will receive a telephone interview and then the decision, it depends on a number of factors such as where you live. Some people have received a decision in about 10 days - some 6 - 10 weeks and others much, much longer.
Sorry I can not give you an exact timeline.
