Making a complaint to Independent Assessment Servi was created by Tuliptrees
Has anyone had a satisfactory outcome when making a complaint about their assessor to IAS?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Margo
Hopefully, someone will answer you. I must admit we don't often hear people getting satisfactory replies - but some do.

Hi Margo
I don't think you'll get much (if anything) from the assessor, most of their replies will be along the lines of "You say we're a bunch of unkind people.. we can find no evidence that we're unkind peopleunless we look in the mirror" type of responses throughout. It's basically "we weren't there" sort of things.
But they will give their employee (MP) a chance to respond, and this is usually where things get.. interesting. If they (MP) are a terrible person, they will be so defensive about their terribleness that they will try to defend this. Which can usually be disproven, especially if you have medical evidence on your side.
I'd say it's always worth complaining, the more detail about their (MP) personal shenanigans you can provide, the more joy you will get when they epically fail to empathise and defend using lies. Which can sometimes be disproven. There's no downside, rly.
Good luck!

Thank you Dan, that made me smile!
As is on my Assessors FB profile, his mantra is 'If at first you don't succeed then bury the evidence that you tried'...speaks volumes to me '
