Mandatory Reconsideration Advice please

I also submitted a request for a MR on 26/11/20. I have confirmation it was signed for on 30/11/20. Do they text to confirm receipt, in the same way they do for original applications? I seem to recall receiving a text confirming receipt of the original application was very quick, hence some anxiety around not having received a text about this yet.

My question is: As I have not received a text, does anyone know how long should I wait before calling to confirm they received and recorded the MR request?

My husband got a text at this stage 7 days after we sent the MR next day delivery

I've been waiting 3 weeks from I sent my MR in good luck.

I forgot to update this. I called PIP on 09/12/20 to confirm they had received the MR. I as told by my MR had been misdirected to the "wrong" allocation queue on the system! The man I spoke to asked me to hold on while he moved it into the "correct" queue. While I was waiting, the text confirming receipt arrived.

Based on that experience, I would suggest if anyone hasn't had a confirmation of receipt text within a few days, it might be worth giving them a call just to make sure it's not in the "wrong" queue!

Hi Ghirl#1 any word on your MR? I got word on 7th January there never got it same b's now for a appeal. Hope you have better luck than me. stay safe
