Access to Work Awards as evidence for PIP Claim? was created by Wanda
Hello Folks, I am filling out my form for a new claim. I have three ATW grants - Travel to work, Special Aids and Appliances, Support Worker. Has anyone else applied when receiving these? Do they add more evidence to support your claim do you think ?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hi Wanda
Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is.
Welcome to Benefits and Work .
PIP is not awarded because of the condition but rather the limitations that result and prevent a claimant from completing a range of everyday activities. If you are unsure whether or not to apply for PIP then try our PIP self-test.

Hi Wanda [I'm not a mod, just a fellow forum bod] Once you have tried the self-test, why not ask your Support Worker, who presumably knows some of your problems pretty well, if he/she will write a letter for you. Ask them to work to the descriptors which you can show them so as Gary says, they describe your limitations. Best wishes, Denby
