Hi

I have today received my extension of award letter due to Covid.

What should I do as my health and conditions are far worse than my last f2f assessment.

If I contact them to advise them of this, am I better to do this by phone or in writing and how will they look at/deal with this?

I was waiting for the review to come though to update it then but now this has happened and I am not clear what will happen.

TIA

If they are our rights, why do we have to fight for them?

Hi Oscarab

If your condition has worsened and you are hoping for an approved award - then you could put in for a change of circumstances. This will trigger a quicker review and you will either have a paper-based or telephone assessment. How soon that review would take place is anyone's guess at the moment, but if you received an increased award this would be backdated to the time you told them about the 'change of circumstances'.

You can ring them up at any time about a change of circumstances and then I would follow up that conversation with a letter to start the process.
