PIP TRIBUNALS & The DWP was created by Neil3051
Hi I have just received my huge bundle of paperwork from HM Tribunals Services (20/01/2021) which is 1 and a half inches thick.
I am finding all this extremely hard to cope with and am trying without much success to get help from the Peabody Group and the NHS Therapy for You Team.
I have been diagnosed with MDD & Severe Anxiety Disorder since 2010.
I have had a Stroke in 2015 which has effected my mobility, memory & concentration.
I have had Meningitis, where i nearly died in 2013
I have been involved in two Road Traffic Accidents in 2003 & 2012 which has left me with Musculoskeletal spinal & nerve damage to upper C & lower L.
I have Sciatica.
I cannot walk more than 50 metres.
I have to be reminded to do the basic things in life Daily.
I just do not know what to do about getting help with this huge amount of paperwork or who to turn too.

Hi NRI

It can seem quite daunting when you receive the bundle of documents from HMCTS, the main documents to go through are the assessors and decision makers reports.

You need to take your time and highlight anything you do not agree with in the assessors report, this is why we advise claimants to ask for a copy of the assessors report (PA4) when they have an assessment.

Have you looked at our PIP Claim and Appeal guides? The Appeal guide is halfway down the page.

Remember, make sure that you understand the criteria that you are being assessed against you can put the best case forward that is possible but you won't score points if you do not meet the PIP Descriptors.
