Hi has anyone had their review when it was due when they were over pension age? As I understood it if your review was due put you turned pension age you should be move on to the 10 year light review but do not know if this is proving to be fact. I was given PIP with a review after 4 years which will be due this year but have turned pension age 2years ago. I found the whole process very stressful the last time and I'm not looking forward to doing it all again and as nothing has changed I was hoping the 10 year review would apply but don't know.
Once you reach State Pension age and under go an assessment then you may be awarded a light touch review, we have seen a few members on this forum get this award.
I am afraid that you will have to under go another assessment unless DWP have enough information to do a paper review which can happen but not very often.
