PIP letter renewal was created by Kummerzz
No doubt you been asked this question before, but I have received a letter to ask me to phone a number before a certain date and if I don't I will have my PIP payment stopped.
I am going to ring the number should I prepare for a telephone assessment or do I need to request a renew PIP paper form if so which one.
Many thanks B

Hi Boscozz

I can't be absolutely sure, but it sounds as if you are going to be asked to reapply for your PIP - in which case it will be form-filling before any assessment. The only way you'll know is by ringing them.

They should give you seven days notice with a time and date for a telephone assessment. It is unusual (and I have not heard of it) for them to invite you to ring them before a certain date. I am assuming this was an official letter from the DWP? It will be I teresti g to see what they say when you ring them as it will help others too if they have had the same sort of request.

Hi Lindsey

It's actually quite common for them to send a letter and ask a claimant to phone before a certain date.
