hello, i went onto universal credit in august sent in a fit not about my health and they sent me a wca form i filled the form out and sent it recorded delivery in middle od august and still not heard back from them. im still sending in 3monthly fit notes and long is waiting time for wca assement?
I've moved your post to its own topic, we ask members not to post their questions in other member's topics as it can lead to the wrong advice being given or taken.
Unfortunately you are not alone, we have heard from many forum members about the delays in their assessment. The last I heard from DWP on this matter was that there is a backlog and they are working through it in date order.
If you want to try and move you assessment up the chain you could ask your MP for help.
Unfortunately some MP's are more pro-active than others, I would copy in Thérèse Coffey Secretary of State at the Department for Work and Pensions.
