Support at a Tribunal was created by suicidalgoldfish
I have my telephone tribunal hearing on Wednesday and I’m terrified.
I’ve had help from Citizens Advice but they couldn’t represent me.
Where did you find an advocate?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hello suicidalgoldfish,
I have moved your post to its own thread to avoid confusion. If you are reading this, it means you have found it, which is good.
Every area varies in what support is available, but here is a link which might be useful
Local Advice
I hope you do find someone. I know this sounds easy to say, but if you don't manage there is really no reason to be terrified.
If I am going to a tribunal I always make a list of the key points I want to make sure the tribunal panel hear. (Use our guides to help you on this. PIP resources UC & ESA resources )
And then I tick them off as I feel they have been satisfactorily covered. At the end of the tribunal you should be given an opportunity to tell them anything else you wish to, this the time to make sure everything is ticked off on your list. If they don't ask you if there is anything else you want to say, when they are winding up say something like 'can I just add ....'. They have a duty to listen to you.
Covid restrictions permitting, you can of course have a friend or relative with you, just to give you moral support or to be the one to tick things off on your list.
I hope things go well for you on Wednesday,
Catherine
