For my PIP.1043 I got a To Whom It May Concern letter a support from a neighbour who saw me struggling for a few years and was helping me with deliveries. We have both moved to different properties these last months.
My friend now ex neighbour kindly emailed me her letter of support that states that these last few years (except these last few months when we both moved) she saw me personally struggled walking, climbing stairs etc.
She writes down the address she used to live at for many years (except these last 3 months when we both moved) which has been the same as mine for these last few years except for our different flat numbers.
- - Does the fact she does not write her new residential address on that letter penalise me in any way ie Pip may not take it into consideration or may think it has less witness value as if she had put her residential address on it?
She did write the identical address we both used to live at apart from the flat number, and her full name, email, contact number and signature which she said was “electronically signed’ and iit is like a photo of her real signature.
- - Also is it likely she will get a phone call from PIP.?

Thank you to all the moderators and fellow forum members helping out with answers and personal experiences.
Best wishes

Hi Olympia

I wouldn't worry about it. It was the address at the time she knew of your circumstances. I have never known the DWP to follow up on information given in a supporting letter from a friend or family member.
