Hello Dawny,
I am really sorry to hear about your husband losing his award, and to add to that I cannot give you good news about the wait for an appeal. It varies a bit across the country, but prior to covid the wait was anything up to a year, but my personal experience is that it is a little quicker now.
You can however phone the Courts and Tribunal service and ask them for an estimate as to how long it will take.
The good bit of news is that many people who failed at MR, succeed at appeal and the award is back dated to the start of the process.

That is really good news Dawny and thank you for letting us know.
Once you have had a chance to enjoy the DWP's offer if you feel that you should have received a higher award you still have the option of telling the the tribunal service that you wish to continue with your appeal, but hopefully you have now got the correct awards.
