new experience for me was created by magpiejoe08
hello, for the first time ever, on saturday, march 6th 2021 i received a pip award review form. it says they awarded me pip on may 25th 2018 and want to know if my needs have changed, but when i send this form back in 15 days time all i can do is send them copies of letters i sent them back in 2018, the consultants and doctors more or less said back then, that there was no treatment they could do and i would have try and live with it. my condition has deteriorated, but my medication has stayed the same, i have no further medical evidence, and back in 2018, the hcp stated my condition was unlikely to improve and it hasn't, is there anything i can add, or might this suffice, thank you.

Hello MagpieJoe,
There is a whole section on PiP reviews in our guide. The first link on this page.
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip
I would urge you to read that. You cannot produce letters you don’t have, so I would send copies of the ones you sent before, saying that they still apply. If covid is a reason why you do not have any more up to date ones then say so. If the fact that the consultants decided that your condition did not need regular reviews, then say that.
If you have family or friends who help you with Daily Living and/or Mobility you could ask them to write describing the help you need.
You might also want to think about completing a diary (same link as above, but further down the page). This might help demonstrate to the Decision Maker how your condition has deteriorated, even though your medication has not changed.
I hope that helps,
Catherine

I would reiterate that your condition has not changed/got worse if appropriate and see what they say ....
