Hi I have an question I’m thinking of getting married and im getting esa income-related ESA and in support group will it effect my esa ? Because at the moment the husband won’t have an job and won’t be claiming no benefits as he won’t be entitled to it for 5 years the question I have will it effect my esa ? What would be the process when I tell them ? Also is it best to tell them over the phone or in writing? Please let me know Also will esa be ceased?

Hi Sam123

We cannot answer your post as we do not have enough information such as does your partner live with you now? You need to contact a Welfare Rights Worker who will be able to give you advice once they have taken all your information into consideration.
