Dear fellow forum members,

I asked for the PA3 on my PIP assessment but I rang twice and they said that the DWP assessor did not ask a health professional report and there is definitely no PA3.

I am very pleased I had a paper assessment.
It is the first time I have had a paper assessment only and it is thanks to your guides and this forum that recommends to avoid a face to face/tel assessment by sending as much relevant and beneficial evidence as possible.
it is because I wanted to avoid a phone assessment and spent a lot of time gathering a lot of medical evidence, friends, neighbours letters, relevant printout from my GP surgery (free), mri’s etc.

I am trying to do an MR.
I am finding it a Little bit hard because on the 3 descriptors I disagree with, I only have 4 or 5 generals sentences giving a reason for the descriptor chosen by the assessor.

But because I cannot read the specific evidence the assessor used (apart from esa report from many years ago and pip face to face report from 3 years ago, which I asked them to send me and could take up to 10 days to arrive and is irrelevant as many years old) am I correct in doing the following:

a) write a simple letter asking for MR
b) can I say I agree with the assessor decision to:
- double my award (as in line with deterioration of condition)
- and give me specific point on specific descriptors.
- but that however, I disagree on the specific descriptor, cooking, bathing and mobility and explain my reasons why even though I have 2 or 3 sentence per descriptor from the assessor, explaining why she gave me those points (some of her reasons are vague)

I am also wondering if anyone out there successful with an MR without having a PA3?

Thank you very much.
Kind wishes
