pip review form was created by harmony1
hi, I had a review form for my PIP come a couple of weeks ago. I tried to ring up DWP for extension, but when I rang the number the message they left said the if u are calling for an extension on PIP reviews that they have been extended by three months from the date at the top of your review letter. I rang it twice as I couldn't believe my ears. Does anyone else know about this as i'm getting worried that I won't get my form in on time, by the 15th April, I'm waiting on supporting evidence. Any idea pls. Many thanks.

Hello greeneyes1

Yes, you heard right! You currently have three months from the date at the top of your review letter.

There is just a slight caveat which we are pointing out to members; unless they have told you separately, the end date of your current award has not been extended by 3 months. So do take a look at that and make sure that you get your review form in at the least before that date to ensure that you don’t lose out on money. If you get it in close to the end date, it is possible that you might have a period when your old award has run out and the new one has not yet been assessed. If this happens, you will have a period without PIP payments, but your new award will be back dated to the end of the old one.

So generally, yes, it is good news!
