Submitting evidence PIP

Hi to all,

My PIP review is due in a couple of months. Over the last 4 years i have been compiling all my paper work and evidence- support letters etc, into word documents. This was and is for my future if anymore ESA SG.

Sounds a long time to compile, but when your fighting multiple illnesses daily/ nightly 24*7, its surprising how long it can take to use the keyboard and add a sentence to a document.

My question is this: Since my ESA SG (2017) files, which are in pdf's and word docs and also all in paper hard copies. Wouldn't it make sense and be logical to use information from the old esa sg file.

And use it towards my coming PIP review! Obviously there have been worsening conditions/ illnesses since 2017, so i though i could pull out what i needed, re-juggle the document's as needed to reflect the changes for the PIP review.

And just add in my latest specialist report GP letter etc at the end shortly before posting it.

This would and should save me tons of time instead of re-inventing the wheel so to speak right

I would think evidence from 2017 right uptil present would suffice. Even though ESA & PIP have overlaps. I just need to fill in such over lapping gaps with my latest conditions/ illnesses.

Finally if anyone else has used old ESA/ PIP evidence going back a few years, just wondering how you got on.

I have just posted off my PIP review, and have used and sent evidence from my ESA as well.

For me, this evidence demonstrates that there is history with these conditions, and having had face to face with both ESA and PIP the last time....they concur.......my thoughts are, surely this may help?

Thanks for your reply regarding my query. I will certainly pay very close attention to your valid advice [Just make sure that you address each relevant PIP descriptors activity. DWP may argue that ESA isn't the same as PIP. This is correct, but there is a large crossover, and the judges have accepted this.]

I will be mulling over all my paperwork and making the necessary adjustments, which i hope will fit into the PIP review descriptors.

Incidentally just been reading my last pip report, as usual that was full of lies, and incorrect observations. Hence I appealed and won.

Morning.. I would also include your Tribunal paperwork. I did my PIP renewal recently (just posted last week) and I did this, and mentioned what points I had been awarded for each activity (each individual time). They look at your old PA4, so you need to show it was decimated at Tribunal.

Also. They need to ‘prove’ your conditions have deteriorated if they try and reduce your award.

I included all my ESA stuff at my last Tribunal, and it helped me get Mobility, which I had not received before. ALL my ESA85s (which I got through a SARS request) stated I had been put in the Support Group because I was unable to mobilise (since 2010!!)….despite never having received 1p from DLA/PIP for Mobility prior to this.
It also made ICE tell DWP to look at my ‘old’ awards (took 2 years of being very annoying and persistent to get to that stage, and STILL awaiting DWP to actually do it!)

Anyway. Throw everything at them.. Good Luck!
