Universal Credit was created by Ade
I completed my UC50 form in November 2019 and after a very long wait I got my assessment over the phone in April 2021 today I was told I was entitled to the award of LCWRA and they backdated the payment so I have £4800 coming to me which will help alot.
The only thing is why have they kept me on Universal Credit and not on ESA? As on Universal Credit I get £85.48 a week extra now I get LCWRA but on ESA you can get upto £114.10 a week.
I have noticed they have not told me how long I will be getting LCWRA for. Is this normal and they will just get in touch when I need a new assessment.
Again thank you for all your fantastic advice I could have not gone through all this without you. Keep up the good work and I would like to tell everyone if you get a knock back fight the DWP all the way I did and I won.

Hi John

Once you have changed to Universal Credit you can't be moved back to ESA.

As it is an indefinite aware you won't get told how long you have it for - but they will get in touch when you need to be reassessed.
