Hi
I was wondering if someone is able to help me I am completing a PIP review form for my partner he was awarded PIP in 2019 for his psychosis , anxiety and depression.
Since then he has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia after been sectioned under the mental health act.
When completing the review form on the sectioned where it says tell us if something has changed and approximately when is anyone able to give me any suggestions of what I can put.
Can I put for example :
My previous diagnosis was psychosis , however in the last year my symptoms have got worse and I have been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia , I still have problem with X because
Any help will be appreciated

You need to inform of the DWP of the change of circumstances, does your partner have a CPN or psychiatrist or both, if they do then ask them for a supporting letter. I find that CPN's and psychiatrists do very good supporting letters.
where you ask about 'when' something changed that is quite hard to answer, it would have been before your partner was sectioned, as it is a renewal then their condition has been ongoing and deteriorated and now been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and sectioned for ....... under the Mental Health Act, it usually is under section 2.
