PIP RETURN ‘DELAY’ was created by ANGELA
Hello peeps…
I have just been reading another’s post, where they were instructed NOT to return their PIP (new claim after tribunal) ‘renewal’ form late.
I sent mine in two weeks late, but only because I was given a ‘two week extension’ by the DWP [without asking for one] … which I stated clearly on the front of said form in CAPITALS… and attached their letter..
I know how lovely and generous the DWP are…..!! ….. but none the less am now wondering…
Will it be counted against me that my PIP ‘renewal’ form was late… ?
ie. if successful (I’d better be), will I lose two weeks money as this will count as ‘not a continuation’????
Clarity would be marvellous!!
Have I been hoodwinked into self-sabotage???
I had thought the ‘claim began’ when you phoned up for the (renewa)l form.
Thanks x

Hi Angel

You didn't return it 'late'. You were given an extension, as is common and you returned it within this time limit. No, it won't be counted against you.
