Whenever I have the misfortune to have to ring the DWP or even when I've had Face To Face assessments the Assessor always ask the question "do you claim Housing Benefit". Might be my enquiring mind, but does any one know why? Kind Regards,
They may just be asking to see if you claim any other benefits or think you should do - but I can't say for sure. If it happens again ask them why it is relevant.
