I completed a mandatory review as i was only given standard rate for living and 4 points for mobility - I believe i am entitled to higher rate on both. My counsellor has sent a letter stating i suffer overwhelming pyschological distress and no way could i go on an unfamiliar journey even when someone is with me. The DM stated there was no doubt i suffer balance issues with my benign brain tumour and said i could not go further than 200m aided or unaided yet only gave me 4 points. This was acknowledged as received on the 15th May and says give them 10 weeks - it took 8 months for my PIP application so not sure what to expect. Wait and see - should i do anything else? Cheers x
I've moved your post to its own topic, we ask members not to post their questions in other member's topics as it can lead to the wrong advice being given or taken.
Have you asked for a copy of the assessors report (PA4), you need this report to see how the assessor assessed you, you can then build a picture of where they may have gone wrong or used wrong assumptions in regards to your condition.
