I've been in receipt of esa (support group) for several years and never had a payment problem before. Always paid fortnightly on a Thursday but today when checking my bank it hadn't gone in. After an hour on hold to dwp I finally got through and was told that they can see the payment didn't get processed but had no explanation why it didn't and put it down to a technical glitch. They manually did the payment and was in my bank an hour later.
Is this just one of those things that happen as I've never had a problem before. The only thing that's recently changed is my PIP has just been reviewed but they have awarded me the same as I previously had - enhanced care & standard mob.
