Move from ESA to Universal Credit was created by Zinny
Has it been announced when ESA claimants will be transferred to Universal Credit? Over a year ago a bill was passed in parliament that this would happen. I have seen nothing about this since.

Also a family member who is in the Support Group always gets called for re-assessment every 18 months. It would surely be more sensible to wait 3 or 5 years since their health problems are not going to change. Id this commonplace?

Hi Zonky

Fortunately Covid came along and put the brakes on everything, I believe the DWP is now looking at 2024/25.

ESA is an indefinite award and will stay in payment until the claimant is reassessed.
