Just to let you know the exact date I was sent the LEAP review letter was 29th June 2021 in the letter it says Enclosed is your LEAP dicision letter from 16th January 2020 which I never received

Hi Catherine I got in touch with DWP a couple of months ago to tell them I had not received a LEAP letter in January 2020 which they said they had sent me.So they said they would send me a copy which they did a couple of months ago now so that is were we are at,once again apologies if you can't understand.

I've read through the entire thread.
You think that in 2017 you should have been award enhanced mobility (not standard mobility)
According to the information you've provided your case was looked at under the LEAP Review in Jan 2020 (although you did not receive the letter until Jun 29th 21) and this did not bring about any change.
You could contact them and say that you wish to appeal and ask them to look at your case again. If they look and they agree you should have been awarded enhanced then yes, you would be due a back payment. BUT, LL26, stated in her first post that this could be challenging because of you reaching pensionable age at a similar time to your award. You will need to provide them with evidence of how your condition impacted on you in 2017 and show that you suffered overwhelming psychological distress at that time. They should have considered the impact of your Aspergers, but it's not automatic because of the condition that you would have been awarded 8 points instead of the 4 you were given.
So if you were under pension age when the award was made in 2017 you can ask them to look again at your award. We can't say whether they will or not.

Hi BIS I was under state pension age at the time of my Aspergers diagnosis if I asked for it to be looked at again could they change my award.
