So after 2 cancellations from the independent assessors I finally had my assessment this morning. Don't really know what to make of it but think it went well, wasn't in any particular order so felt a little bit flustered as went from money management questions to asking about if I bathed myself to what medications I take. Hopefully I got everything across I needed to. It was an hour and 20. Felt very stressed and naxious beforehand as not sure how well I come across on the phone and lots riding on getting PIP. Big 7 month build up.
I've already had a text from dwp to say they have the report. Do I ask for a copy now or do I wait the 48 hours as previously mentioned in the forum? Will they send it electronically or does it have to be sent via post?
If the DWP have informed you they have received the assessors report then I would contact DWP now and ask for a copy of the report. They send you a copy of the report (PA4) via the post.
