Hi Guys
I wonder if you would know why my ESA amount goes down as it says on my council statement.
Employment Support Allowance £114.10 Weekly 17 Apr 2021 03 Dec 2021
Employment Support Allowance £78.80 Weekly 04 Dec 2021 01 Apr 2022
Thank you in advance for any help.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Sam,
I'm afraid I don't know why this should occur. It might be related maybe to a transitional allowance or other linked benefit ending? However, it could also be an error. I suspect the best way to find out is to ring both ESA and the council and see what they say.
Sorry I can't be more helpful.
