Hi River,

All i can say is that you have to remember that is not the condition your daughter has but how it affects her daily living. I would perhaps do a" pip test"( available on this site ) first. This may give you some indication as to whether your daughter meets the descriptors. Also it helps to get medical eveidence from her current consultants/ medical proffessionals etc

Good luck

Hi River

It's impossible to answer your question because it's not the condition that determines whether a claimant gets awarded PIP, it's the impact of certain conditions on their daily life and their mobility as set out by the specific PIP criteria. `So two people can have the same condition but the impact varies so one claimant gets awarded PIP and another does. In your daughter's case, you have said your daughter has chronic idiopathic ucteria and mental health difficulties, both of which will have side effects that impact her daily life. If she has an assessment this week she needs to go through the possible type of questions she will be asked and think through possible answers. No one can guarantee what exactly she will be asked, but it's good to prepare.

You can find the information in the guide to PIP claims and reviews www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip
