Hi Lynn

Your question is outside the remit of this forum, but a member may have a view. However, I would talk to a specialist benefits adviser in your area.

Hi Lynn,

People usually get a discount or reduction if they have no or low income, are disabled or live alone.

The best people who can answer is your council's benefits/council tax department as any reduction is based on the person's individual circumstances. You can phone them, if you are able to, and ask if you'd be eligible for some support.

You don't ask you don't get.

Best wishes,

Josh
